Two Vermont Tech runners win YSCC player of the week honors
The top finishers for Vermont Tech at our home meet on September 8th took home Yankee Small College honors as runners of the week.
Emma Labadie won the award on the women's side, placing first of all Vermont Tech's runners in a 5K time of 25:38 to lead the women's team to a first ever 3rd place finish for the home team, and also competing in her first collegiate running competition.
Matt Kelly was the first of Vermont Tech's runners on the men's side, finishing his 8K race with at time of 32:31. Matt had a very solid race, which showed that his training throught the summer is starting to pay off.
