Randolph Center, VT: Gage Lalumiere, a 6'1 G from Vergennes, VT, signed his letter of intent to join the Knights. Lalumiere is coming from Vergennes high school where he was asked to play multiple positions during his time there.
"Gage is an excellent defender, has a quick first step. His leadership, positive energy and the ability to rally his team when chips are down is what makes him special." Vergennes coach Joshua Carter had to say about Lalumiere.
"I thought is was really crucial to get some local talent at Vermont Tech," Head Coach Jamal Hughes said. "It's talent here in the state that I don't want to overlook. I think Gage will be bring an energy and skillset that is needed to help win championships." He played multiple position in high school which speaks to his versitility. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do in our system.
Gage Lalumiere: I've heard a lot of good things about the program. I really wanted a chance to play at the college level. When you've been playing against the same kids since you were young, you are looking for the next challenge and I get that challenge at VTC.
Gage will major Engineering and manufacturing technology this fall.
