Watkins Inks Letter of Intent
Cyncere Watkins, a freshman guard from Wickliffe, Ohio, has commited to the Knights. The freshman graduated from Lake Catholic High School in Ohio.
Head Coach, Alex Tyrrell, thinks Cyncere's best basketball is ahead of him.
"Cyncere has a nice feel for the game, along with good length and touch", said Coach Tyrrell. "He embodies the qualities we look for in both a player and person. I am excited to see how his game improves with all the work he is going to put in".
Cyncere will be studying Business Management and Technology at Vermont Tech.
Watkins wants to be a part of the winning cultural Vermont Tech has built.
"Vermont Tech, from a basketball perspective, is ready to take another step forward", said Cyncere. "I believe I can be a part of that and win a lot of games. I wanted a program where I felt like I could make an immediate impact and I think Vermont Tech is that place for me".
